Dance Chance Atlanta is this Saturday evening!

Join us this Saturday at 7:30 for the May installation of Dance Chance Atlanta. Come take part in moderated conversation around new dance works at Atlanta Ballet's Michael C. Carlos Dance Center. Webinar: Deconstructing the NCCAS Dance Standards:  CREATING
Wednesday, April 29th from 7 - 9pm (East Coast Time)
$15 for NDEO Members; $25 for Non-Members
NDEO is offering a series of 5 webinars regarding the new dance standards. The first webinar (Introduction to the Standards) took place on March 11th and a recording is now available to members for free until April 28th.  The next webinar will review the Artistic Processes of Creating.  

1) Pre-Recorded: 
Introduction to the National Core Arts Standards in Dance (2 hours in length). Available for download to members for free until April 28th.

2) Live Webinar:  Deconstructing the NCCAS Standards: CREATING
April 29, 2015 Wednesday 7:00-9:00 PM Eastern Time Zone  
The cost is $15 for NDEO members and $25 for Non-Members.

 3 Additional Professional Development Opportunities: 
Further enrich your understanding of the new dance standards with these intensive upcoming professional development opportunities:

1)  Conference: Hear from other dance teachers about their experience implementing the standards in their classrooms and studios by attending our weekend conference
K-12 Dance Education: Standards in Action Conference from January 29-31, 2016 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at Berkeley Marina in Berkeley, California. 1.5 CEUs.  
         
2)  Online Course: Develop a plan to implement the standards in your classroom or studio as a student in our upcoming Summer 2015 OPDI course that starts on May 25th: OPDI-112: Implementing the New National Core Dance Arts Standards.Participants will analyze the content of the standards and develop curriculum and lesson plans based on the new standards specific to their unique teaching environment. 3 CEUs offered. $450 tuition fee.

3)  Online Course: Learn about the Model Cornerstone Assessments so you can measure student learning after implementing the new standards by taking our Fall 2015 OPDI course: OPDI-M8: Designing Model Cornerstone Assessments. 1.5 CEUs offered. $250 tuition fee. Registration coming soon.
