DanceATL Community Meeting-I Followup

Dear DanceATL friends,   Thank you to those who attended our Community Meeting on Saturday, January 27th. We are very excited to move forward with this process, and are energized by all of the support and enthusiasm we all experienced at the meeting! We ask that each Work Group meet BEFORE our next meeting to determine 2018 goals/priorities for your category. HAPPY NEW YEAR and Call for Community Meeting

A Happy New Year wish for the Atlanta Dance Community! Our amazing dance community is growing and thriving. With that, DanceATL has been offered funding support to re-ignite and grow. Though we’ve been quiet for some time due to a lack of funding, we are ready to re-activate to satisfy the needs of our dance community. Here’s the catch: In order to accept the funding, DanceATL must present a 1-3 year plan of activities as outlined by the dance community. Please bring your ideas and  join us! DanceATL Community Meeting Saturday, January 27, 2018 4-6pm Core Studios, on the Square in downtown Decatur Welcome to anyone in the greater Atlanta dance field - dancer, choreographer, dance educator, artistic director, dance-focused arts administrator ​​We hope to engage a group as diverse as the Atlanta dance scene, to participate in a group discussion to begin determining our community needs. DanceATL is sincerely looking forward to serving again alongside this beautiful and vibrant community of ours. Here’s to all things new in 2018!
